OEM used mercruiser High pressure fuel pump. Mercruiser cool fuel 3 pumps usually do not fail randomly, they fail from an outside influence. Please make sure your fuel filters are clean, low pressure pump is operational and fuel module is not causing the pumps to overheat causing failure.
